First Day of Rotations

Today was our first day of rotations at Rangsit University! We had the great pleasure of meeting the dean, Dr. Thanapat Songsak , our preceptor Dr. Laksana, fellow pharmacy students and many other faculty members. The Dean presented each of us with an amazing pendent as a gift. We attended an international student exchange orientation, in which we learned about traditional Thailand culture, customs and some Thai language to help us get around easier. The entire staff we interacted with today made us feel right at home. During lunch fellow pharmacy students took us out to the schools cafeteria (this is no standard cafeteria that we are used to in the states!). The food varied from Chinese food to Japanese food to Thai food and beyond! All cooked right in front of you and straight out of the pot. If the first day is any indication as to what the next weeks have in store, we are beyond excited and feeling truly blessed for this opportunity!
